Special Meeting of the Administrative Review Board
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Administrative Review Board was called to order on
Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:01 a.m. in the Council Hearing Room, located at 990 Palm
Street, San Luis Obispo, California, by Chair Conaway.
ROLL CALL
Present: Board Members Alex Karlin, Vice Chair Sarah Pazdan, and Chair Earl Conaway
Absent: None
Staff: Kelly White Legal Assistant/Paralegal (as Board Liaison and Recording Secretary)

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Consideration of Minutes of the Regular Administrative Review Board Meeting of
September 11, 2018:
ACTION: UPON CALL TO VOTE BY CHAIR CONAWAY, APPROVAL of the
Administrative Review Board Minutes of the Regular Administrative Review Board Meeting
of September 11, 2018, as presented. CARRIED 3-0-0.

BUSINESS ITEMS
2. 2019-21 Financial Plan Major City Goals:
The Board thanked staff for creation of the report. Staff answered questions related to
proposed Major City Goals #2 and #3, and the Board discussed the draft as presented in the
report.

ACTION: UPON MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER KARLIN, SECONDED BY CHAIR
CONAWAY, CARRIED 3-0-0 to accept the final draft of the proposed recommended Major
City Goals.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 11:11 a.m. The next Regular Administrative Review Board meeting
of Tuesday, November 13, 2018 being cancelled, the next Regular Administrative Review Board
meeting is scheduled for December 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., in the Council Hearing Room, 990 Palm
Street, San Luis Obispo, California.
