Subject:Architectural review commission hearing
I have several concerns about this project a short distance from my home of sixty five years. The first
thing I notice about this review are the number of exemptions. This is a city/county building and I expect
here to be NO exemptions to city/county ordinances. I am particularly concerned about the lack of
enviromental review as this is a neighborhood of single family homes. The corner of one block contains
low income housing with another small low income housing lot about 1/2 block away. It is important to all
of the people living here that this project is environmentally safe. Then there is the parking issue. The
plan reduces available parking in a neighborhood where parking is already at a premium. These are
merely the most important objections I have, the building design also seems inappropriate.
