RESOLUTION NO. 11115 (2020 SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING LEASE NO. 24831 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO AND MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS INC.,
APPROVING SAME AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER THE LEASE ON THE CITY’S BEHALF
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo duly called and noticed
a regular meeting of the City Council on May 5, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo has determined that a true
and very real need exists for the acquisition of the Equipment or other personal property described
in the Lease between City of San Luis Obispo and Motorola Solutions, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo has determined that
the Lease, substantially in the form presented to this meeting, is in the best interests of the City
of San Luis Obispo for the acquisition of such Equipment or other personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Findings. The City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo finds: The above
statements are true.

SECTION 2. Action. Based on the above findings and evidence submitted in support
thereof, the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo hereby approves the entering into of the
Lease by the City and hereby designates and authorizes the following person(s) referenced in the
Lease to execute and deliver the Lease on the City’s behalf with such changes thereto as such
person deems appropriate, and any related documents, including any escrow agreement, necessary
to the consummation of the transactions contemplated by the Lease.
Upon motion of Council Member Christianson, seconded by Vice Mayor Gomez, and on
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Member Christianson, Pease, Stewart, Vice Mayor Gomez and
Mayor Harmon
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing resolution was adopted this 5th day of May 2020.
