Subject:CHC Communication - Mixed Use Project, 1144 Chorro St.
Dear Cultural Heritage Committee,
As the architect-of-record for the historical/adaptive reuse of the adjacent building on the corner of Chorro and Higuera,
or the Wineman Hotel, and after reviewing the recent redesign of the 1144 Chorro Street project. It is our opinion that
the project is contextually and skillfully redesigned. It “fits” the corner massing in conjunction with all adjacent
structures and is a complement to the overall downtown core design requirements. Please accept this review in your
consideration for the approval of the project.
