I am writing regarding 1460 Mill Street (DIR 0379-2020) with the ridiculous request to add 21 feet in height.
I live two blocks from there and walk past this house 3-4 times a week.
It is already a tall house at the top of the nearest hill.
And, they want to add 21 feet to the limit?
That is a RIDICULOUS request.
We do not need a modern-day Tower of Babble in our neighborhood, which would open the floodgates to hundreds
more.
What, a multi-million dollar house isn’t enough for these greedy people?
Just say no to greed, blasting through the standards that are there because they’re reasonable, and generally rewarding
rich people.
No, no, and a thousand times NO.
