Mr. Christian,
Please note this is a public records request for Mayor Harmon’s Instagram account, specifically for her post on
9/3/2021. I would like her original post and all edited versions, as well as ALL comments (including all of those deleted,
blocked and/or hidden). I believe one of the missing comments said something to the effect of - I’m not legally allowed
to block them even though I want to … but I can’t wait because in 24 days I will block them. Did Mayor Harmon admit
on social media that when she blocked constituents, she did so illegally? Again, an apology is demanded.
Also, why were any comments deleted, blocked and/or hidden - all in violation of city policy, and perhaps law?
Furthermore, I would like Mayor Harmon censured. She remains an elected public servant who’s intentionally and
blatantly violating her oath (more than one time) and as such, she should be reprimanded formally for her unbecoming
and wrong-doing behavior.
Please advise as to the process of censuring. Per 8.3 Censure Procedure, it appears that “Any member of the City
Council may submit, in writing to the Chair of the Personnel Board, a complaint and request for a censure hearing
concerning an alleged violation of law or serious violation of City policies by another member.” I’d like to know, without
infringing on anyone’s due process, who will be submitting this complaint?
