Re: Request for Certified Payroll Records (from 6/1/2020 through current) Project: Disinfection Byproduct Reduction and WTP Pipe Gallery Improvements Location: 879 Morro, San Luis Obispo CA 93401 Contractor: Cushman Contracting Corporation License: 689962 The Labor Management Compliance Council is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of maintaining high standards and a level playing field for construction projects subject to prevailing wage laws in the plumbing and piping industry. To achieve this purpose, the L.M.C.C. carries out an active program to assure that laws governing the public works construction labor laws, public contract laws, and contractor license laws are enforced by the public agencies charged with their enforcement. This is a formal request for certified payroll records on the above – noted contractor. This request is made pursuant to the State of California Labor Code Section 1776(e). It states, “Any copy of records made available for inspection by, or furnished to, a Joint Labor-Management Committee, established pursuant to the Federal Labor-Management Act of 1978, shall be marked or obliterated only to prevent disclosure of an individual’s social security number,” meaning the workers names and addresses shall remain on the payroll records. Please send certified payroll records from 6/1/2020 through current, with contractor’s fringe benefit sheet, within 10 days. (California Labor Code Section 1776(h). The Labor Management Compliance Council, in accordance Title 8, Sec. 16402 of the California Code of Regulations, will pay for the duplication of the requested payroll records at $10.00 administrative fee, $1.00 for the first page and $.25 each page after.
