CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Promotional Coordinating Committee was called to
order on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 5:39 p.m., by Chair Thomas.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chair John Thomas, Vice Chair Samantha Welch, Committee Members, Maureen
Forsberg, Lori Lerian and Robin Wolf
Absent: Member John Conner
Staff: Tourism Manager Molly Cano and City Clerk Teresa Purrington

Bettina Swigger, CEO Downtown SLO presented a project update on the vacant window
beautification project.

2.NEIGHBORHOOD MAP PROJECT
Molly Cano, Tourism Manager presented the PowerPoint regarding the Neighborhood Map
Project and provided options for the third business neighborhood to feature in Neighborhood
Map Project.

MEMBER LERIAN, CARRIED 5-0 (With Member Conner absent and one seat vacant) to have the
Broad/Orcutt area to be the next neighborhood to be included in the Neighborhood Map Project.
3.PCC COMMUNITY PLACEMAKING & RECOVERY PROJECT BRAINSTORM
The committee will discuss project ideas for the Community Placemaking and Recovery
Project work efforts.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:08 p.m. The next Regular Promotional Coordinating Committee
