RESOLUTION NO. 11347 (2022 SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING USE OF CAPITAL PROJECTS
RESERVE FUND AND INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FUND TO
SUPPORT THE NORTH CHORRO NEIGHBORHOOD GREENWAY
PROJECT, SPECIFICATION NO. 1000036
WHEREAS, in June of 2021, the City Council approved 2021-23 Financial Plan –
Capital Improvement Program, which identified the North Chorro Neighborhood
Greenway Phase 2, previously known as the Anholm Neighborhood Greenway, with a
total budget of $3,085,455 to support implementation of the North Chorro Neighborhood
Greenway; and
WHEREAS, to provide funding to support curb ramp construction work for the
Project, staff is recommending the City Council approve use of $1,000,000 from the Capital
Projects Reserve Fund and $1,223,000 from the Infrastructure Investment Fund; and
WHEREAS, a balance of approximately $2,901,708 is available from the Capital
Projects Reserve Fund; and
WHEREAS, a balance of approximately $1,223,000 is available from the
Infrastructure Investment Fund for the North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway Project or
other Active Transportation Projects consistent with action taken with the 2021-23
Financial Plan (Resolution No. 11251); and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:

SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes staff to transfer $1,000,000 from the
Capital Project Reserve Fund and $1,223,000 from the Infrastructure Investment Fund to
North Chorro Neighborhood Greenway Project, Specification No. 1000036.
Upon motion of Vice Mayor Christianson, seconded by Council Member
Shoresman, and on the following roll call vote:
AYES: Council Member Pease, Shoresman, Vice Mayor Christianson, and
Mayor Stewart
NOES: Council Member Marx
ABSENT: None
The foregoing resolution was adopted this 19th day of July 2022.
