SUBJECT: RECOMMENDATION FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE HUMAN
RELATIONS COMMISSION
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm the appointment of Michelle Tasseff to the Human Relations Commission to complete
an unexpired term to March 31, 2014.
DISCUSSION
Due to the resignation of John Rollefson, effective July 30, 2013, there was an unscheduled
vacancy on the Human Relations Commission. Mr. Rollefson’s term would have expired March
31, 2014.
Staff posted the Notice of Unscheduled Vacancy as required and advertised for interested citizens
to apply. After interviewing all applicants, the Council Subcommittee is pleased to recommend
the appointment of Michelle Tasseff to the Human Relations Commission, term expiring March
31, 2014.
