Regular Meeting of the Promotional Coordinating Committee
CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the San Luis Obispo Promotional Coordinating Committee was
called to order on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 5:30 p.m., by Chair Thomas.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chair John Thomas, and Vice Chair Samantha Welch, Committee Members
Maureen Forsberg, Clint Pearce, Anni Wang, Lori Lerian and Robin Wolf
Absent: None
Staff: Tourism Manager Molly Cano

ACTION: UPON MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER WOLF, SECONDED BY
COMMITTEE MEMBER WANG, CARRIED 7-0 to approve the Consent Agenda items 1
thru 6.

Hollie West, SLO Chamber presented the report for the public relations activities that
occurred in July and August.

BUSINESS ITEMS
1. PUBLIC ART PROMOTIONAL PLAN PCC PRIORITIZATION 45 mins
Tourism Manager Cano reviewed the public art promotional plan and discussed
prioritized program tactics for the committee to pursue.

PCC LIAISON REPORTS AND COMMUNICATION
1. GIA LIAISON REPORT
Committee Member Lerian attended the Festival Mosaic event.
2. COMMITTEE OUTREACH UPDATE
The Committee discussed the idea of bringing back the plaza pop ups.
3. TBID BOARD REPORT
Committee Member Pearce reported on the August and September 14, 2022 TBID

meetings.
4. TOURISM PROGRAM UPDATE
Tourism Manager Molly Cano provided a brief Tourism Program update.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m. The next Regular Promotional Coordinating
Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at City
Hall 990 Palm Street.
