A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO THE UNITED
STATES TO CONSTRUCT WATER PIPE LINES UNDER AND
ALONG CERTAIN STREETS AND PROVIDING FOR THE Ex-
ECUTION OF A DEED GRANTING SUCH EASEMENT
BE IT. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo that a perpetual easement be granted to the United States
and /or its assigns to construct, maintain, operate, patrol, recon-
struct, repair, remove, replace, increase and /or change the number
and /or size of pipes, pipelines, hydrants, accessories and appurte-
nances for the conveyance and distribution of water over, under,
along, and upon, from property line to property line in each thereof,
the hereinafter designated roads, streets, alleys and public ways
within the incorporated area of the City of San Luis Obispo, State
of California as said roads, streets, alleys and public ways are.
shown on Map recorded in Book A. Page 168 of Maps.-Official Records
of San Luis Obispo County, California, together with additional and
supplementary maps, and maps of various additions and tracts now con-
stituting the area within the City Limits of the City of San Luis
Obispo, all of which are now on file and of record in the office of
the County Recorder of said County of San Luis Obispo.
The roads, streets, alleys and public ways, hereinbefore
referred.to are described as follows:
1. Hathway Avenue from the northerly City Limits of the City of San
Luis Obispo to the southerly line of Sycamore Street.
2. Chorro Street from the northerly line of the City of San Luis
Obispo to the northerly line of Mill Street.
3. Mill Street from the easterly line of Chorro Street to the west-
erly line of Nipomo Street.
y. Villa Street from-the westerly line of Nipomo Street to the Angle -
point in Villa Street westerly of Nipomo Street.
5. Nipomo Street from the southerly line of Mill Street to the north-
erly line of High Street.

6. High Street from the westerly line of Nipomo Street to the east -
.erly line of Broad Street.
7. Broad Street from the southerly line of High Street to the south-
erly line of Kwang -Su Avenue.
8. Pismo Street from the easterly line of Nipomo Street to the east-
erly line of Morro Street.
9. North Broad-Street from the southerly line of !bill Street to the
southerly line of Palm Street.
10. Grand Avenue from the northerly City Limits of the City of San
Luis Obispo to the southerly line of Monterey. Street.
11. Monterey Street State Highway 101 from the westerly line of
Essex Street to the easterly line of Ida Street.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
San Luis Obispo be and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver, for and on behalf of the City of San Luis Obispo, a deed
conveying such easement to the United States and /or its assigns,
which execution shall be attested by the City Clerk.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of April, 19429 by the
following vote:
AYES: W. H. Brazil, R. P. Howell, Ralph C. Kennedy, Fred C. Kimball
