Re: Election Campaign Regulations Review Committee Meeting
Thank you for agreeing to serving on the City's Election Campaign Regulations Committee!
The initial meeting, as you know, has been scheduled for Monday, July 18, 2005, at noon in
the Council Hearing Room. The City Clerk's office will provide lunch.
We will be assisting the Committee as staff liaisons. Julie O'Connor will serve as the
Recording Secretary. We look forward to working with you over the next few months.
In order to facilitate our initial meeting and assist in preparing you for the task with which you
are charged, we have attached the following documents:
1. Agenda
2. Committee Roster
3. Municipal Code Section 2.40
3. Recap of concerns for consideration by the Committee (Please note that this list is not
all-inclusive. It includes items of concern by the Council which the Committee is being
asked to review.)
4. Excerpt from the June 21, 2005, City Council Minutes related to the charge of this
Committee
5. Correspondence related to November 2004 Election
Please review this information prior to our initial meeting. Do not hesitate to contact either
one of us if you have questions or if we may be of assistance between now and July 18th.
