tween LAWRENCE H. POULSEN and LUCILLE POULSEN, his wife, the
parties of the first part, and CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a muni-
cipal corporation of the State of California, party of the second
part,
W I T N E S S E T H•
That the said parties of the first part in consideration
of the sum of Ten and no /oo Dollars ($10.00), lawful money of
the United States of Pmerics., to them in hand paid by party of
the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do
by these presents grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto the said
party of the second part, and to its successors and assigns for-
ever, a right -of -ray to lay, construct, operate, maintain, repair
and reconstruct a sewer line for the transportation of sewage
across, under, over and through that certain real property situated
in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California, and described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the Wes-
terly line of North Broad Street and the Southerly
line of the Northv,rest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 27 Township 30 South, Range 12
East, M.D.M. in the City of San Luis Obispo,
California, said Southerly line of the Northwest
cuarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section
27 also being the Northerly line of a 40 foot road;,
thence running from said point of beginning South
890031 West 180.00 feet along the Southerly line
of said Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of said Section 27 and along the Northerly line of
said 40 foot road to a point; thence North 00301
West 7.00 feet to a, point; thence North 890031 East
180.00 feet parallel to the Southerly line of said
Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Sec-
tion 27 and 7.00 feet at right angles therefrom to
a point on the Westerly line of said North Broad
Street; thence South 00301 East 7.00 feet along the
said Westerly line of Broad Street to the point of
beginning and being a part of the said Northwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 27 Town-
ship 30 South, Range 12 East, M.D.M.
Said party of the second part agrees to bury said sewer
line, so far as possible, in a trench four (4) feet deep, except

where the same crosses ravines, and in such manner as not to
interfere with the use of said property by parties of the first
part, their successors and assigns, for the construction of
buildings and for any and all other purposes not inconsistent
with the rights hereby granted.
Said party of the second part agrees to pay all damages
which may arise or result from the laying, constructing, operating,
maintaining, repairing or reconstructing said sewer line; provided,
however, that any such damages shall be limited to actual injury
or actual damage to the property itself, and party of the second
part shall not be liable for any damages by reason of the mere
existence of any pipe line constructed by it nor for any damages
to the market value of said property caused by the existence of
any pipe line.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FROM LAWRENCE H. POULSEN
AND LUCILLE POULSEN
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
That that.certain deed dated January 3rd , 1936, made and -
executed by Laurence Poulsen and Lucille Poulsen and conveying to
the City of San Luis Obispo a right -of -way across the following
described property, to -wit:
Commencing at the intersection of the Westerly line of
North Broad Street and the Southerly line of the North-
west quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 27
Township 30 South, Range 12 East, M.D.Id. in the City
of San.Luis Obispo, California, said Southerly line of
the-Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said
Section 27 also being the Northerly line of a 40 foot
road; thence running from said point'of beginning
South 890039 West 180,00 feet along the Southerly line
of said Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 27 and along the Northerly line of said
40 foot road to a point; thence North 00309 West 7.00
feet to a point; thence North 89003? East 180.00 feet
parallel to the Southerly line of said Northwest quarter
of the Northeast ouarter of Section 27 and 7,00 feet at
rightangles therefrom to a point on the Westerly line
of said North Broad street; thence South 00309. Fast.
7.00 feet along the said Westerly line of Broad Street
to the point of beginning and being a part of the'said
Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section
27 Township 30 South, Range 12 East, PI.D.H.
be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City of San Luis Obispo.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause
said deed to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of San Luis Obispo
