FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknuwledp-d. Jean Hunter, a married
woman, as her sole and separate property, as grantor;
hereby GRA NT(S)10 the City of San Luis Obispo, a chartered municipal corporation, as
grantee, the following easement in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, to wit:
A permanent drainage easement to maintain Old Garden Creek in its present state
with.the right of the grantee to make improvements within a portion of Lot 17 in
Block 17 of the Anholm addition, as recorded in Book 3 of Maps at Page 91 described
as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Lot 17; thence along the lot line.
between Lot 17 and Lot 16,;lSouth 840 55' 53" West 67.00 feet to the "TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING," thence continuing along said lot line South 840 55' 53" West
38.6 feet; thence North 290 35' 00" West 59.5 + feet to the northerly Lot line
of said Lot 17, thence along said lot line South 8.90 40' 00" East 25.3 feet,
thence South 410 33' 00" East 64.2 feet, more or less, to the "TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING."
Reserving the right of the grantor to erect a bridge and a deck structure over and
above the creek to the approval of the City Engineer and the City Council.
