assigns forever, an easement of varying width for public use including, but not limited
to, a pedestrian way along the banks of San Luis Obispo, creek maintenance, and utilities
together with rights of ingress to and egress from said lands over which said easement is
granted for the purposes herein mentioned with right to make improvements.
Said easement is described as real property in the City of San Luis Obispo, ccr,.:1-ist1'11g
of a portion of Lot 4 in Block 8 in the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis
Obispo, State or California, according to the map of a part of San Luis Obispo, owned
by A. Murray, recorded May 1, 1876, page 145 in Book A of Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said County, and more particularly described as follows-
Beginning at the southerly corner of Lot 4, said point being on the northerly right of
way line of Higuera Street;
Thence North 360 54' 03" West, a distance of 69.50 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
Thence North 540 05' East 37.5 feet more or less to a point on the northeasterly line
of property described in a deed recorded in Book 1501, page 486 of Deeds.
Thence North 360 57' 55" West along said line, a distance of 24.5 feet to a point;
Thence South 510 45' 33" West, a distance of 37.5 feet to a point;
Thence South 360 54' 03" East, a distance of 23.6 feet more or less to the True Point
of Beginning.
