THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property conveyed by DEED OF EASEMENT
dated October 25, 1999, from Jahanshah Karimaghayi to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a
Political Corporation, is hereby accepted by the undersigned officer on behalf of the City Council
pursuant to authority conferred by Resolution No. 5370 (1984 Series), recorded June 15, 1984, in
Volume 2604, Official Records, Page 878, San Luis Obispo County, California, and the Grantee
consents to recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer or his agent.

Subject: Recordation of an easement for public street and utilities (157 Higuera St.)
The attached easement deed to the City from Jahanshah Karimaghayi has been granted to
accommodate the requirements of a project at the above address, in accordance with the adopted
setback line for Higuera Street. This portion of Higuera St. is adjacent to State Highway 227,
currently under CalTrans jurisdiction. However, this easement will accommodate future
sidewalk improvements associated with a future widening and CalTrans has previously stated
that these types of easements (only for pedestrian purposes) do not need to accepted by the State
of California, since they are primarily interested in the vehicular traffic lanes.
Please have the Mayor execute the acceptance certificate and record the deed, in accordance with
the pertinent resolution authorizing the Mayor's acceptance of same.
Please transmit a recorded copy of the deed to me. I will then transmit a recorded copy to
CalTrans for their records.
