DEED OF EASEMENT
ARTHUR L. COLWELL and MARY COLWELL, as Grantors, hereby
grant to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation,
San Luis Obispo County, California, as Grantee, the following ease-
ment in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, to wit:
Parcel No. 18: A ten (10) foot easement for sanitary
sewer purposes lying five (5) feet on either side of
the following described centerline:
Commencing at the North Westerly corner of a parcel
of land conveyed to Arthur L. and Mary Colwell by
deed recorded in Volume 552 at page 417, San Luis
Obispo County Records; thence Southerly along the
Westerly line of said parcel of land twenty (20)
feet more or less to the true point of beginning;
thence South Easterly from said true point'of be-
ginning fifty -five (55) feet more or less to a
point on the Northerly line of a parcel of land con-
veyed to Leslie L. and Lucille Adams by deed re-
corded in Volume 584 at page 489, San Luis Obispo
County Records; said point being fifty (50) feet
more or less Easterly from the North Westerly corner
of said parcel of land.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said easement for the purpose of ac-
quiring, constructing, completing, reconstructing, repairing,
maintaining, and operating sanitary sewers and appurtenances for
said City, together with the right of ingress and egress therefor.
The Grantee shall, at its cost and expense, and without
delay, restore any improvements damaged or destroyed at any time
by reason of the laying of said sanitary sewers, or by Grantee in
maintaining, repairing,ov operating any sanitary sewer or sewers
in said easement, and shall restore the surface of the ground to
as near its original condition as possible, including an equal
distribution of surface earth, and shall save the Grantors, or any
tenant of theirs, from any suits or damages arising from and
during the construction, or by reason of maintaining, repairing or
operating said sanitary sewer or sewers therein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the grantors have hereunto set their
hands and signatures this 4th. day of October , 1951.

PROJECT NO. 51 -1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo,
California, that it does hereby accept that certain deed of ease-
ment for sanitary sewer purposes, dated October 4, 1951, and
executed by ARTHUR L. COLWELL and MARY COLWELL, and that the same
be recorded in the office of the recorder o£-the County of San
Luis Obispo, California.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of the
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day 0 f1 Fovpmher , 1951, by the following vote:
