THIS INDENTURE made the 4y of August., 1929,
between SAN LUIS OBISPO HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, a public corporation,
first party, and the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corpor-
ation of the State of California, second party,
U I T N E S S E T H:
That the said first party, in consideration of the sum
of One Dollar ($1.00) in lawful money of the United States of America,
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does by these presents grant, bargain and sell
unto the said second party, and to its successors and assigns for-
ever, a right of way for the purpose of constructing a new channel
for San Luis Obispo Creek, said.right of way being more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
A strip of land sixty (60) feet wide and being thirty
(30)_feet on each side of the following described center line: -
Commencing at a point in the center line of the San Luis Obispo
Creek, distant S 710 041 E 91.26 Peet to a point; thence S 770
231 E 95.3 feet to a point; thence N 210 041 E 94.0 feet from
the west corner of harsh and Ida Streets; thence running from
said point of beginning S 21° 041 W 567 feet to a point in the
said San Luis Obispo Creek, and being a part of Section 35,
Township 30 South, Range 12 East, P.R. D. I4.
TO HAVE AMID TO HOLD the said right of way unto the said
second part, and to its successors and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS EHEREOF, the said first party has caused this
indenture to be executed by its President and Secretary thereunto duly
authorized by Resolution of the Board of Trustees of said first party,
(a certified copy of which Resolution is hereto attached and made a part
hereof) the day and year first above written.

District, and they duly acknowledged to me that said San Luis Obispo
High School District executed the within indenture.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF SAN LUIS OBISPO HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO A RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSTRUCTING A NEEU CBAMTM FOR SAN LUIS OBISPO CREEK.
MMEA,S, certain improvements are being made by the City
of San Luis Obispo in connection with the construction of a bridge
across San Luis Obispo Creek, the same being an approach to the high
school property; and
jxjjEREAS, the Board of Trustees. desires to convey a right
of way to the City of San Luis Obispo for, the purpose of constructing
a new channel for said San Luis Obispo Creek as a part of said im-
provement plan:
N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees
of San Luis Obispo High School District that a right of way for the
purpose of constructing a ne'a channel for San Luis Obispo Creek,over
the property hereinafter described,be conveyed to the City of San Luis
Obispo; and..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Secretary of
said Board of Trustees are hereby authorized and directed to make, exe-
cute and deriver for and on behalf of said San-Luis Obispo High School
District, a deed conveying a right of way for`the purpose of construct-
ing a new channel for San Luis Obispo Creek over said real property to
the City of San Luis Obispo.
Said property is described as follows: All that certain lot,
piece or parcel of land situate in the City of San Luis Obispo, County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and bounded and describ ed.as
follows:
A strip of land sixty (60) feet wide and being thirty (30).

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FROM
THE SAN LUIS OBISPO HIGH SCHOOL
DISTRICT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Counail of the City of San Luis Obispo
that the deed executed by Chas. Forbes, President and C. L. Smith,
Secretary, respectively; of San Luis Obispo High School District, and
conveying to the City of San Luis Obispo, a right —of-may for tht
purpose of constructing a new channel'for San Luis Obispo Creek across
a certain portion of the High School grounds of said district, be, -and
the same is hereby accepted by the City of San Luis Obispo.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause said
deed to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of San Luis Obispo,
