DEED OF EASEMENT

THE GENERAL FIREPROOFING COMPANY, as Grantor, hereby grants to the CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, San Luis Obispo County, California, as
Grantee, the following easements in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, to wit:
Parcel 1. A parcel of land situated in Section 36, T 30 S,"R 12 E,
NDM described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the westerly line of Laurel Lane
with the northerly line of Orcutt Road as shown on Licensed Surveyors
maps in Vol. 7 page 114 and running thence N 300 48' E 3.00 to the
true point of beginning; thence from said true point of beginning
N 590 12' W 6.00 feet to a point; thence N 300 48' E 10.00 feet to a
point; thence S 590 12' E 6.00 feet to a point; thence S 300 48' W
10.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2. A parcel of land situated in Section 36, T 30 S, R 12 E,
MDM, described as follows:
• Commencing at the intersection of the westerly line of Laurel Lane
with the northerly line of Orcutt Road as shown upon Licensed Surveyors
maps in Vol. 7p page 114p and running thence N 300 48' E 266.06 feet;
thence N 300 44' E 291.94 feet to the true point of beginning.
Thence from said true point of beginning N 590 16' W 6.00 feet to
a point; thence N 300 44' E 10.00 feet to a point; thence S 590 16' E
6.00 feet to a point; thence S 300 114' W 10.00 feet to the point
of beginning.
Parcel 3. A parcel of land situated in Section 36, T 30 S, R 12 E,
MDM, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the westerly line of Laurel Lane
with the northerly line of Orcutt Road as shown upon Licensed Surveyors
maps in Vol. 7, page 1141 and running thence N 300 48' E 266.06 feet
thence N 300 44' E 841.94 feet to the true point of beginning.
Thence from said true point of beginning N 590 161 W 6.00 feet to a
point; thence N 300 44' E 10.00 feet to a point; thence S 590 16' E
6.00 feet to a point; thence S 300 44' W 10.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said easement for the purpose of acquiring, constructing,
completing, reconstructing, repairing, maintaining, and operating fire hydrants,
and appurtenances for said City, together with the right of ingress and egress
therefor.
The Grantee shall, at its cost and expense, and without delay, restore
any improvements damaged or destroyed at any time by reason of the laying of said
fire hydrants, or by Grantee in maintaining, repairing or operating any fire
hydrants in said easement, and shall restore the surface of the ground to as near

its original condition as possible, including an equal distribution of surface
earth, and shall save the Grantor, or any tenant of the Grantor, from any suits
or damages arising from and during the construction, or by reason of maintaining,
repairing or operating said fire hydrants therein.
