DEED OF EASEMENT
CHAFE E. and MERTON E. FREEMAN, as Grantors, hereby grant to the CITY OF
D�z44 --
SAN LUIS OBISPO, as Grantee, the following easement in the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, to wit:
An easement to construct, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate, and
remove a public sanitary sewer line and appurtenances in and across a parcel
of land in Section 1, T. 31 S., R. 12 E., M. D. M., in the City of San Luis
Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Said easement to
be 10 feet in width lying 5 feet on either side of the following described
center line:
C0124ENCING at the point of intersection of the northerly line of Orcutt Road
with the westerly line of that certain parcel of land transferred from William
H. and Rose P. NIcKeen to Central California Conference Association of the
Seventh -day Adventists by deed dated May 3, 1950 and recorded in Book 568 of
Deeds at page 109 thereof, San Luis Obispo County Records; thence northerly
along said westerly line 28.50 ft to the true point of beginning of the ease-
ment center line to be herein described;
RUNNING THENCE from said true point of beginning North 69° West a distance
of 5.39 ft; thence leaving said westerly line and running North 0° 481 West
a distance of 94.50 ft parallel with and 5 ft distant westerly from said
westerly line; thence South 89° 12' West a distance of 164.53 ft; thence
North 59° 16, West a distance of 6 feet more or less to the westerly terminus
of said easement center line.
THE GRANTEE SHALL, at its cost and expense, restore any improvements damaged
or destroyed at any time by reason of the laying of said sanitary sewers, or by
Grantee in maintaining, repairing, operating or removing any sanitary sewer or
sewers in said easement, and shall restore the surface of the ground to as near
its original condition as possible.
THE GRANTEE ALSO AGREES, that should the Grantors find it necessary at any
future time to place a building over the sewerline, the Grantee will, at its cost
and expense, replace those portions of said sewer line running under said buildings
with cast iron pipe or pipe of sufficient quality to enable said buildings to be
permanently constructed over the sewer line.

A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AND RECORD AN EASEMENT
FOR SA14ITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION FROM CHARLES E.
AND MERTON E. FREEMAN.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to receive and
record, on behalf of the City of San Luis Obispo, a "Deed of
Easement" from Charles E. and Merton E. .Freeman, dated, the 3rd
day of June, 1957, for sanitary sewer construction and operation
as described in said deed of easement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1957, by the
following roll call vote:
