DEED OF EASEMENT
MARY LUCAS, as Grantora, hereby grants to the CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISPO, as Grantee, the following easement in the City of San Luis Obispo, County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California, to wit:
An easement to construct, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate,
and remove a public sanitary sewer line and appurtenances in and across
a portion of Lot 10 of the Beebee and Phillips Tract in the City of San
Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Said ease-
ment to be ten -feet in width lying five feet on either side of the
following described center line:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of J. Harford's Addition at
the easterly termination of the center line of Short Street.
RUNNING THENCE from said point of beginning along the easterly pro-
longation of the center line of Short Street North 90° East a distance
of 535 feet more or less to the westerly line of Lot 5 of Sunnyside
Addition.
THE GRANTEE SHALL, at its cost and expense, restore any improvements damaged
or destroyed at any time by reason of the laying of said sanitary sewers, or by
Grantee in maintaining, repairing, operating or removing any sanitary sewer or
sewers in said easement, and shall restore the surface of the ground to as near
its original condition as possible.

A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AND RECORD AN EASEMENT
TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER
LINE FROM MARY LUCAS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to receive and
record, on behalf of the City of San Luis Obispo, a "Deed of
Easement" from Mary Lucas, dated, the 21st day of June, 1957, to
maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate, and remove a public
sanitary sewer line as described in said deed bf easement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July, 1957, by the
following roll call vote
AYES: Nels Beck, Kenneth W. Jones, Fred H. Lucksinger
NOES: None
