ROSE P. and WILLIAM H. McKEEN) as Grantors, hereby grant. to the CITY OF SAN LUIS
OBISP09 a Municipal Corporation, as Grantee, an easement in the City of San Luis
Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, to wit:
An easement to construct, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate and
renove a public sanitary sewer line and appurtenances in and across a parcel
of land in Section 1, T. 31 S., R. 12 E., M. D. M., in the City of San Luis
O'bispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Said easement to
be ten feet in width lying five feet on either side of the following described
center line:
COMMENCING at a point at the inter6ection of the northerly line of Orcutt
Road with the northwesterly line of Laurel Lane; running thence North 30° 48'
East along said northwesterly line of Laurel Lane a distance of 266.06 feet;
thence continuing along said northwesterly line of Laurel Lane North 30° 44'
East a distance of 118.72 feet; thence leaving said northwesterly line of
Laurel Lane South 59° 16' East a distance of 40.00 feet to a point on the
southeasterly line of said Laurel Lane and the true point of beginning of
the easement center line to be herein described:
RUNNING THENCE from said true point of beginning South 59° 16' East a distance
of 342 feet more or less to a point on the westerly line of that certain
parcel of land transferred from ROSE P. and WILLIAM H. McKEEN to CHARLES E.
and MERTON E. FREEMAN by deed dated February 28,1557md recorded in Book 890
of Deeds at page 85 thereof, San Luis Obispo County Records.
THE GRANTEE SHALL, at its cost and expense, restore any improvements damaged or
destroyed at any time by reason of the laying of said sanitary sewers, or by Grantee
in maintaining, repairing, operating or removing any sanitary sewer or sewers in said
easement, and shall restore the surface of the ground to as near its original con-
dition as possible.
IT IS HEREBY AGREED that Grantors may erect any type of building they desire 1

` over and above said easement, provided however that no building foundations shall
extend lengthwise over said easement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantors have hereunto caused their names to be subscribed

A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AND RECORD AN EASEMENT
TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A PUBLIC SANITARY SEWER
LINE FROM ROSE. P. AND WILLIAM H. MCKEEN.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San. Luis
Obispo as follows:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to receive and
record, on behalf of the City of San.Luis Obispo, a "Deed of
Easement" from Rose P. and William H. McKeen, dated, the 15th
day of July, 1957, to maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate,
and remove a public sanitary sewer line as described in said
deed of easement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1957, by the
following roll call vote:
