KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
acting by and through its Director of Public Works, does
hereby grant to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal cor-
poration, all that certain real property situate, lying and
beingin the County of San Luis Obispo, State of Cel ifornia,
described as follows, to wit:
A part of the portion of Block 150 of Harford's addi-
tion to the City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis
Obispo, according to the map filed May 89 1876, in Book A.
of Maps, at Page 123, records of said County, described in
the Deed to the State of California recorded November 21,
1951 in Volume 635 of Official Records at Page440, records
of said County, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point marked S, No, 1 set at the point
of intersection of the westerly line of Higuera Street with
the southerly line of French Street as shown on said Meg;
thence (1), from said point of beginning S. 0" 301 W„ 9074
feet along said westerly line of Higuera Street; thence (2),
from a tangent that bears N. 0° 30' E., along a curve to the
left with a radius of 45,00 feet through an angle of 94° 01'
27" for a distance of 7,3,85 :feet to a point of the above said
southerly line of French Street; thence (3), along said
southerly line, N. 47° 321 E,, 65,82 feet to the point of
beginning,
Containing 1,377 square feet of land, more or less.
Subject to restrictions, reservations, and easements
of record,
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN:
FIRST, the Director of Public Works has heretofore found
and determined and does hereby find and determine, that the
said lands were acquired by the State for highway purposes and a

are no longer necessary, and are not now being used for highway F,
uses or purposes;

SECOND, that this conveyance is executed pursuant to the
authority vested in the Director of Public Works by law, and
in particular, by the Streets and Highways Code,

RESOLVED by the California Highway Commission that
it having approved the manner and terms and conditions of the
transaction, the execution by the Director of Public Works on
behalf of the State of California of a deed conveying to the
City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal corporation, a part of
the portion of Block 150 of Harford's addition to the City of
San Luis Obispo in the County of San Luis Obispo, is hereby
authorized and approved,

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING THE RE*
CORDING OF A DIRECTOR'S DEED COVERING A PORTION
OF BLOCK 150 OF HARFORD'S ADDITION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
1. That the Director's Deed, dated June 4, 1957, by
which the Director of"Public Works grants to the City of San Luis
Obispo a portion of Block 150 of Harford's Addition to the City
of San Luis Obispo, is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to record said deed with the San Luis Obispo
County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1957, by the
following roll call vote:
