DIRECTORrS DEED
?STOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS; That the STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
acting by and through its Director of Public ':forks, does
hereby grant to City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal corporation,
all that certain real property situate, lying and being in the
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, described as follows,
to wit;
All of Lots 1 to 7 inclusive and the 7Nesterly 15.00 feet
of Lot 8, in Block B, of the Maymont Addition in the City of
San Luis Obispo, as said Lots and Block are delineated on the
map recorded April 9, 1888, in Volume B, at page 91, records
of said County. EXCEPTING from said portion of Lot 8, the
northerly 15.00 feet.
Containing 11,465 square feet of land, more or less.
Subject to restrictions, reservations and easements of
record.
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOVIN :
FIRST, the Director of Public Works has heretofore found
and determined and does hereby find and determine, that the
said lands were acquired for State highway purposes and are no
longer necessary, and are not now being used for highway uses or
purposes;
SECCND, that this conveyance is executed pursuant to the
authority vested in the Director of Public Works by law and, in
particular, by the Streets and Highways Code.

R E S O L U T I ON
RESOLVED by the California Highway Commission that it having
approved the manner and terms and conditions of the transaction,
the execution by the Director of Public Works on behalf of the
State of California of a deed conveying to; City of San Luis
Obispo, a municipal corporation; all of lots 1 to 7 inclusive
and a portion of lot 8 in block B of the Maymont Addition in the
City of San Luis Obispo, is hereby authorized and approved.

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY CLERK TO RECORD A DIRECTOR'S DEED
COVERING LOTS 1 TO 7 INCLUSIVE AND A POR ?ION
OF LOT 8, BLOCK B OF MAnIONT ADDITION IN
THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Luis
Obispo as follows:
1. That the Director's Deed, dated August 30, 1957,

by which the Director of Public Works grants to the City of
San'Luis Obispo Lots 1 to 7 inclusive and a portion of Lot 8,
Block B of the Maymont Addition in the City of San Luis Obispo,
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is hereby directed to
record said deed with the San Luis Obispo County Recorder.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1957, by
the following roll call vote:
AYES: Nels Beck, Kenneth W. Jones, Richard G. Sleight, J. Barry
