THIS AGRE MENT,.executed this 9th day of August , 1960, by
and between WILLIAM E. SCHOFIELD and ANNA K. SCHOFIELD, hereinafter called Grantors,
and the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter cal led City,
witnesseth:
For and in consideration of the conveyance by Grantors of 0.032 acres more or
less lying along Johnson Avenue, and in consideration of Grantors agreeing to
install a six foot (61) integral sidewalk along said right -of -way granted the City
and to install 149+ feet of curb and gutter, the City agrees to install 60 feet
(a normal residential frontage) of curb and gutter, to complete the street grading k
and street paving up to the curb line along the entire frontage and to do all
necessary engineering and legal work. It is understood that the City, at its
option, may proceed with their portion of the improvements set forth hereinabove
at any time the City so desires, but that the City is not under any obligation
to do so unless and until the Grantors have installed their improvements. It is
further understood that the Grantors need not install their share of said improve-
ments unless and until Grantors subdivide or erect structures on their property
in accordance with the Curbs, Gutters and Sidewalk Area ordinance.
