EASEMENT
WILLIAM E. SCHOFIELD and ANNA K. SCHOFIELD hereby grant to the CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, easements hereinafter described
across that certain parcel of property owned by the grantors, located in the
City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, which
is described in that certain deed dated October 18, 1960, recorded in Volume
1089, Page 131 of Official Records in the San Luis Obispo County Recorders'
Office.
Said easements are described as follows:
An easement to construct, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge,
operate, and remove a public sanitary sewer line and appurtenances
in and across the following described property in the City and
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California to wit:.
That portion of the South half of the southeasterly quarter of
Section 36, in Township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo
Base Meridian, according to the official plat or plats of survey
of said lands returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor
General, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the NEly line of County Road No. 257,
known locally as Johnson Avenue, as conveyed to the County of
San Luis Obispo by deed dated September 24, 1932, and recorded
in Volume 130, Page '137 of Official Records in the Office of the
County Recorder, said point being the Northwest corner of the
property conveyed to Arthur A. Reed, et ux, by deed dated July
1, 1946, and recorded July 3, 1946, in Volume 413, Page 84 of
Official Records; thence northwesterly along said northeasterly
line..of said road on a curve concave to the left, with a radius
of 1030 feet for a distance of 13.49 feet; thence continuing
along said northeasterly line N 18° 211 W, a distance of 196.51
feet to the true point of beginning; said true point of beginning
being the most westerly corner of the property conveyed to Reginald
T. Tumbleson and wife by deed dated November 16, 1950, and recorded
February 19, 1951 in Volume 597, Page 535 of Official Records.
Thence N 71° 39' E a distance of 210.00 feet; thence N 26° 35' 30"
E a distance of 63.19 feet; thence N 330 121 E a distance of 81.86
feet; thence N 30° 521 W a distance of 191.08 feet; thence S 560
331 W a distance of 10.01 feet; thence S 30° 521 E a distance of
189.97 feet; thence S 33° 121 W, 143.37 feet; thence S 71° 39° W,
196.56 feet; thence S 18° 211 E, 5.00 feet to the True Point of
Beginning.
A drainage easement to handle storm water and natural drainage
from Flora Street as shown, on Tract, No. 1669 Said easement to
run along the Southerly prolongation of said Flora Street to
and along the existing drainage ditch lying approximately 140 �
feet from the Southerly limit of Flora Street as shown on Tract 11
No. 166, recorded in Book , Page ;, of Book of claps in the C�
Office of the San Luis Obispo County Recorder.
