COVENANT
FOR GOOD and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which
is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned owner of certain property hereinafter
described, hereby covenant with the City of San Luis.Obispo on behalf of said
owners, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assignees as follows:
1. The owner hereby covenants with the City that in event the
property is subsequently subdivided, the owner will reimburse
the City for all of the improvement costs set forth in
s� i�� `'• Paragraph 2 of that certain agreement dated the 14th day
of November , 19 63, except an amount equal to the
costs of improvements of one normal residential frontage or
that parcel retained by the subdivider.
2. The owner further agrees that this covenant shall run and bind
the land hereinafter described and all subsequent owners, heirs,
executors, administrators, and assigns, and that this covenant
runs in favor of the City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal
corporation.
3. Said land is located in the State of California, County of
San Luis Obispo, City of San Luis Obispo, and is described
as follows:
THAT portion of the South half of Section 36, in Township 30,
South Range 12, East Mount Diablo Meridian, according to the
official plat of survey of said land on file in the Bureau of
Land Management, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Johnson Avenue and Laurel Lane;
thence Westerly along Johnson Avenue,225 feet to the True Point
of Beginning; thence S 300 41' W, 281.8 feet; thence N 72° w,
150 feet; thence N 30° 41' E, 281.8 feet; thence S.72° E, 150 feet
to the point of beginning.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property conveyed by
the Covenant dated Novgmba i4— f 19 63 ,
from John Gaustad and Cora A. Gaustad
to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted in accordance with Resolution No. 549 (1959 Series), re-
corded May 25, 1959, in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292,
San Luis Obispo County, California, and the grantee consents to
recordation thereof.

Whereas, John Gaustad and Cora Gaustad, hereinafter called Owners, did
execute a covenant with the City of San Luis Obispo, hereinafter called City, on
November 14, 1963; and
Whereas, said covenant was thereafter recorded in Volume 1274, Page 363
of the Official Records, County Recorder's Office, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California; and
Whereas; the obligations undertaken by such Owners in said covenant have
been performed and discharged.
NOW, THEREFORE, KNM ALL D aN by these presents as follows:
1. The City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal corporation acting by and
through its Mayor, Kenneth Schwartz, and Its City Clerk, j H. Fitzpatrick, Mere -
unto duly authorized, for and in consideration of the premises -and the pan- ne= in
full of all of the improvements costs required to be repaid to the City pursuant to
that certain covenant dated November 14, 1963, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby release and discharge the following described real property
from any lien or encumbrance resulting from the aforesaid covenant.
2. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this release to be recorded in the
San Luis Obispo County Recorder's Office as evidence of the full discharge of the
Owners.
