FOR AND III CONSIDERATION of the sum of one dollar to the grantor in
hand paid, the roceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, JOSE de SOUZA
BRAZIL, the said grantor, hereby grants to the City of SAN LUIS OBISP09
a municipal corporation, in the State of California, the perpetual right
of way and easement to lay, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate
and remove a public sewer line in and across his lot or parcel of land
in Block 61 of the McDougall Tract, in the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Said sewer to be laid
across said lot along the following route, to wit: beginning at a point
on the northwesterly line of Higuera Street as said line of Higuera
Street now exists, said point being distant N. 30` -97' E., 6 feet from
the point where the line between lots Nos. 30 and 31 of the S. P. McDoug-
all Tract in Block 6I intersects the said line of said Street; thence
N. 60 w, 204 feet to the center line of the Ban Luis Obispo Creek.
Said sewer line shall be buried in crossing said lands at least Sow 0wo
feet deep. A connection "T° shall be left in the line for the con-
venience of the granteb-. The grantee herein named and its successors
and assigns shall be responsible for and shall pay to the party entitled
thereto any damage that may be caused by or result from the laying, main-
taining, operating or removal of said sewer, line or pipe.
IN WITNESS VMREOF said grantor has hereunto set his hand this
