FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of one dollar to the grantor in
hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, J. J. ANDRE, the
said grantor, hereby grants to the CITY of SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal
corporation, in the State of California, the perpetual right of way
and easement to lay, maintain, repair, replace, enlarge, operate and
remove a public sewer line and pipe, and to erect and construct two
manholes in said sewer line, in and across his lot or parcel of land
in the S. P. McDougall Tract in Block 61, in the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California. Said sewer to be laid
in and across said lands along the following described route, to wit:
beginning at a point on the southeasterly line of Dana Street, said
point being distant S. 37 22' W., 33.30 feet from the most westerly
corner of Lot No. 18 of the S. P. McDougall Tract in Block 61, in _s
said City, thence S. 5 15' E., 65.80 feet to a point; thence S. 60 E.
110.60 feet to the center of the San Luis Oblepo Oreek. �
The said sewer in crossing said lands shall.be buried at least Pour
feet deep. A connection "T" shall be left in the line for the conven-
ience of the grantor. The grantee herein named and its successors and
assigns shall be responsible-for and shall pay to the party entitled
thereto any damage that may be caused by or result from the lacing, main-
taining, operating or removal of said sewer line and pipe.
IN WITNESS WHEREpjF, the said grantor has hereunto set his hand and
