GRANT DEED
ROLAND C. MADDALENA and MARLENE M. MADDALENA, as Grantors, hereby grant
to the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a municipal corporation, as Grantee, all of
their right, title and interest in the following described property in the
City of San Luis Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
to wit:
A portion of Lots 8 and 9 of Block 1 of Norton's Addition to the City
of San Luis Obispo as designated upon the map of said addition filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of said County on
October 24, 1901 and more particularly described as follows:
The easterly 10 feet of Lot 9 and the Easterly 10 feet of that part of
Lot 8 as described in Parcel 2, Volume 1288, Page 216, Official Records
of said County.

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the interest in real property conveyed by the
Grant Deed dated October 17 1966 ,
from Roland C. Maddalena and Marlene M. Maddaleua
to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted in accordance with Resolution No. 549 (1959 Series), recorded
May 26, 19591 in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292, San Luis Obispo
County, California, and the grantee consents to recordation thereof.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, executed this /•7 u' day of �2eeAz"- l , 1966,
by and between Roland C. Maddalena and Marlene M. Maddalena, hereinafter
called Grantors, and the City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal corporation,
hereinafter called City, witnesseth:
1. Grantors agree to convey to the City .016 acres, more or less,
lying along Broad Street.
2. Grantors agree to remove existing sidewalk, curb and gutter and
retaining wall and to construct new sidewalk, curb and gutter and
retaining wall at the new setback line.
3. City agrees'to pay Grantors $491.75 for the land being conveyed to
the City, plus $939.75 for the loss of existing sidewalk, curb and
gutter, retaining wall, step, removal of existing improvements
and additional fill required, making a total of $1431.50 the City
agrees to pay Grantors upon completion of the improvements set forth
in paragraph number 2.
4. City will provide the necessary engineering, legal work, relocation
of water service and pave out the street to the new gutter.
