QUITCLAIM DEED
This indenture, made this 16th day of November, 1965, by and between
the San Luis Obispo School District, located in the County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, and hereinafter termed District, and the City of San Luis
Obispo, a municipal corporation located in the County of San Luis Obispo, State
of California, and hereinafter termed City:
WITNESSETH:
That the San Luis Obispo School District, for a valuable consideration,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby quitclaim to the City of
San Luis Obispo that certain real property situated in the County of San Luis
Obispo, State of California, and more particularly described on the attached
sheet marked Exhibit A which is hereby expressly referred to and incorporated
herein as though here fully set forth.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the San Luis Obispo School District has caused its
corporate name to be hereinunder subscribed by its officers, thereunto duly
authorized by a resolution of the Board of Education of the San Luis Obispo
School District, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and the seal
of said Board of Education to be hereunto affixed on the day and year first
above written.

Luis Obispo, California; thence S 30° 48' 15" W a distance of 3.08 feet to a
point; thence N 71° 56' W a distance of 1.34 feet to a point; thence along a
curve to the right, tangent to the last aforementioned line, with a radius of
1,030, through an angle of 3° 29' 56 ", for a distance of 62.90 feet to a point;
thence N 21° 33' 56" E, a distance of 60.00 feet to a point; thence southeasterly

Quitclaim Deed dated November 16 , 19 65 ,

to the City of San Luis Obispo, a Political Corporation, is hereby
accepted in accordance with Resolution No. 549 (1959 Series), recorded
May 263, 1959, in Volume 1002, Official Records, Page 292, San Luis Obispo
County, California, and the grantee consents to recordation thereof.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY
TO CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO

The following resolution is hereby offered and read:
WHEREAS, the San Luis Obispo School District duly adopted a resolution
of intention to transfer the hereinafter described real property to the City of
San Luis Obispo, and due notice was given thereof, and
WHEREAS, this resolution is adopted by a unanimous vote of ail the
members elected or appointed to the San Luis Obispo School District Board of
Trustees, and
WHEREAS, said real property is not now and will not at the time of
transfer of title be needed for school classroom buildings by said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Board of Trustees
of the San Luis Obispo School District, State of California, as follows:
1. That the transfer of the hereinafter described real property
to the City of San Luis Obispo be and hereby is authorized,
said real property being more specifically set out on the
attached sheets marked Exhibit A which is hereby expressly
referred to and incorporated herein as though here fully set
forth.
2. That the City of San Luis Obispo shall use said real property
for street purposes only.
3. That the President of the Board of Trustees of the San Luis
Obispo School District be and hereby is authorized and directed
to execute on behalf of the San Luis Obispo School District a
quitclaim deed transferring said real property to the City of
San Luis Obispo, and also an agreement with the City of San
Luis Obispo concerning said property.
4. That this transfer of real property and the development
thereof is also pursuant to a San Luis Obispo School District
resolution dated October 5, 1965.
On motion of Board member Mr. Patrick N. Nagano , seconded by
Board member Dr. George 0. French , and on the following roll call vote,
to -wit:
AYES: Mr. Patrick N. Nagano, Dr. George 0. French, Mr. Walter F. Lewis,
Mr. Warren A. Sinsheimer, Mr. Wickson R. Woolpert.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
the foregoing resolution is hereby adopted.

ATNESSETH:
That District and .City,. the parties hereto, in, consideration of the mutual
covenants, agreements.. conditlons, and promises herein. set forth, do hereby mutually
covenant and agree as follows:
1: That District shall immediately dedicate to City for pubiic -street

fornia, which real property is -more fully set out an the attached sheet marked Exhibit,
A which is hereby expressly referred to and incorporated herein as though here fully
set forth.
2. That City shalt use said real .property for street purposes. only,
3. That City shall take.1mmediate steps after the completion of said-.
. dedication to construct,, improve and blacktop . said real property as. an extension of
Southwood Skive.
4. Thad` District shall dedicate to City for public street purposes that
real property located in the Courity of San Uls Obispo, State of California bet*een
the end of Southwood Drive as extended pursuant to the provisions hereinabove and.
Helena Street, at such time. as a:substantial public fecreatioaral• facility is developed
on the adjacent land. to suck an extent that street improvement is aquired.in order
that .the public can use said facility.
5. Upon the dedication.of said feat property;by. Disttictto City as set.
