AGREEMENT FOR SALE OF PROPERTY
THIS AGREEMENT, made and executed by and between JOHN D. WHITLEY
and WILBERTA L. WHITLEY, Husband and Wife, hereinafter referred to as
"Owners, " and the CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, a Municipal Corporation of the
State of California., hereinafter referred to as "City;"
W ITNESSETH:
1. Owners hereby sell to City that certain property located in the State of
California, County of San Luis Obispo, described on Exhibit "A" and shown on
Exhibit 'B ", both of which are attached hereto and hereby incorporated by
reference.
2. City hereby agrees to purchase said parcel for the sum of SIX THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($6,000.00), to be paid to the Owners when said property is free and
clear of all liens and encumbrances, of which the Owners agree to obtain releases
or satisfaction. All taxes and assessments shall be current.
3. Owners shall have the right of access along all of the property being
acquired by the City for street purposes, and City shall install a barbed wire
fence along the northerly boundary of the parcel being acquired from Owners.
4. Title policy shall be issued by Title Insurance and Trust Company, San
Luis Obispo, California. City shall pay for all costs involved in said transfer.
S. Owners agree to execute Grant Deed to be deposited with the title
company, to be recorded when the title company can issue title policy approved
by the City.

That portion of Lot No. 89 of the San Luis.Obispo Suburban Tract, in the
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to map recorded
February 7, 1906, in Book 1, Page 92 of Records of Surveys, on file in the
office of the County Recorder, County of San Luis Obispo, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Lot 89 of said suburban tract; thence
N 650 10' E along the line common to lots 89 and 90, a distance of 411.30 feet
to a point; thence tangent to the last described line along a curve to the west
concave to the north with a radius of 230.00 feet; thru an angle of 23° 04' 26112.
for a length of 92.62 feet; thence on a reverse curve concave to the South,
with a radius of 270.00 feet, thru an angle of 23° 04' 2611, for a length of 108.73 feet
and tangent to a line that is 40 feet northerly of and parallel to the line common
to lots 89 and 90; thence S 65° 10' W along said parallel line, a distance of
213.71 feet to a point on the easterly line of San Luis Obispo Edna Road; thence
S 22° 30' E along said easterly line of San Luis Obispo Edna Road a distance
of 40.03 feet to the point of beginning.
