THIS IIdDEPdTUR.Es made this 22nd, day of Play, 1925,
BETWEEN George A. Monroe and Lovina Monroe, his wife, both of
the County of'San Luis Obispo, State of California, the parties
of the first part, and City of San Luis Obispo, a municipal
corporation of the. State of California, the party of the second
part,
WITNESSETH: That the said parties of the first part, for and in
consideration of the Sum of Ten Dollars (4 10.00), lawful money
of the United States. of America, to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, do by these presents grants bargain, sell, convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second part, and to its
successors and assigns forever, the right to lay, construct,
operate,'maintain, repair and reconstruct a, storm sewer or storm
drain over and through, under or along that certain parcel of
land situate, lying and being in the City of San Luis Obispo,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and particularly
described as follows, to -wit:
All that part of Lot No. One (1). in Block No. One
Hundred and Forty Seven (147) of J. Harford's Addition
to the City of San Luis Obispo, California, a map- of
which is of record in the office of the County 3eeorder
of San Luis Obispo County, California, surveyed by B. F.
Hinchliffe9 April 1876, and acknowledged by the County
Clerk of said County the 8th. day of Play, 1876, lying
three (3) feet on each side of the following described
line, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the westerly line
of Higuers Street which bears S. 90 0' W. three (3) feet
from the northeast corner of said Lot Ido. One (1) in
said Block No, 147 and running thence parallel with and
three (3) feet from the North line..of said Lot No. One
(1) in said Block No. 147, S. 89' W., 250.5 feet to a
point in the Westerly line of said lot; and being a
strip.of land six (6) feet in width.
Together with the right of ingress and egress- to and
from the same unto the said party of the second part, its agents
and employees and the right to do and perform all things necessary
and convenient to the use of the right hereby granted.
