map of said addition made by H. C. Ward in January, 1888, and that portion of Section 26,
Township 30 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian and that portion of Lot
14 in Block 13 of the Central Addition in the City of San Luis Obispo, according to map
filed for record March 27, 1888 in Book A. page 55 of Maps, all in the City of San Luis
Obispo, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California described as follows:
Commencing at the most Easterly corner of Lot 19 in Block 8 of the Central Addition to
the City of San Luis Obispo; thence South 490 45' West along the Southeasterly line of

Grantee consents to recordation thereof by its duly authorized
officer or his agent.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT OF
REAL PROPERTY TO CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
The following resolution is hereby offered and read:
WHEREAS, this District owns certain real property located on San
Luis Drive in San Luis Obispo which is not now and will not in the
future be needed for school classroom buildings by the San Luis Coastal
Unified School District, and
WHEREAS, said property is comprised mostly of a portion of the San
Luis Creek bed, and it is in the public interest that said real property
now be conveyed to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ORDERED by the Board of Education
of the San Luis Coastal Unified School District, as follows:
1. This Board finds that this resolution is approved unanimously
by the members of said Board.
2. That it be and is hereby authorized and directed that the San
Luis Coastal Unified School District grant certain real property to the
City of San Luis Obispo, by executing and delivering a quitclaim deed, a
copy of which deed is set forth as Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a
part hereof as though fully set forth herein.
3. That the Secretary of this Board be and is hereby directed to
give notice hereof by publishing this resolution in the Telegram -
Tribune, a newspaper published in said District and having a general
circulation therein, not less than once a week for three (3) consecutive
weeks prior to making said conveyance.
4. That on the 17th day of November, 1970, which date is at least
twenty -two (22) days after the first publication directed in Paragraph 3
hereof, at a public meeting of the Board, the President of said Board of

Education be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the San Luis Coastal Unified School District the quitclaim deed, a
copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
5. That the Secretary of this Board be and is hereby directed to
transmit to the City of San Luis Obispo the quitclaim deed, the execution
of which is authorized herein, when the same has been so executed.
On motion of Board member Robert D. Warden , seconded by Board
Member Patrick N. Nagano , and on the following roll call vote, to -wit:
AYES: Robert D. Warden, Patrick N. Nagano, Teymoor Gedayloo, Carl L.
Hysen.
NOES: None.

The Board of Education has completed action and legal requirements
to deed the.San Luis Creek property to the City of San Luis Obispo
as had been agreed by the City Council and the Board of Education.
Enclosed is a bill for $1.00, the recommended procedure by the
title company to complete the transaction. The original of the
deed has been forwarded to the First American Title Insurance
Company for recording. I have.asked that a copy with the recorder's
number be forwarded to you.
