The STATE OF CALIFORNIA, acting by and through its Director of Public Works, does hereby grant to
CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO
all that real property in the
San Luis Obispo County of - - P _ ,State of California, described as:
That part of Governmerit.Lot 1 in Section 16, Township 31 South, Range
12 East, Mount Diablo-Base and Meridian as conveyed to the State of
California, by parcel "THIRD" in the deed recorded February 13, 1947 in
Volume 434 at page 216, Official Records of San Luis Obispo County.
Together with any- right,,title or interest in said Section conveyed to
the State of California by deed recorded December 3, 1929 in Volume 78 at
page 15.2, Official Records of said County that lies southeasterly of the
relinquishment to said County recorded in Volume 5.03 at page 217, Official
Records of said County.
It is expressly made a condition herein that the conveyed property be.
used exclusively for public purposes; that.if, said property ceases to be
used exclusively for public purposes, all title and interest to said
property shall revert to the State of California, Department of Public Works,
and the interest held by the grantee, named.herein, or its assigns, shall
cease and terminate at such time. It is understood and agreed by the
grantee, herein named, and its assigns, that the foregoing provision con-
stitutes a forfeiture and will cause all interest to'revest in the State
of California, Department of Public Works,.:if- -the conveyed property ceases
to be used for public purposes.
