City Administrative Officer SUBJECT: Reappointments and appointments t Citizens' Advisory Committee CAO RECOMMENDATION: That Joan Leon and William J. Pyper be reappointed to the Citizens' Advisory Committee and that Darell Farrer and Jon M. Jenkins be appointed for terms expiring 3-31-90. DISCUSSION: These appointments and reappointments together with the three members whose terms are continuing (John Grden, Elinor Kagan, and Henry Rible, III) will bring the Citizens' Advisory Committee up to its full authorized strength of seven members. The Citizens' Advisory Committee is a special purpose committee created to perform indepth studies on matters of community concern as proposed by the City Administrative Officer and City Council , and to prepare reports on these studies for presentation to the City Administrative Officer and the City Council . The Citizens' Advisory Committee is currently reviewing the Fire Master Plan for the community. The Citizens' Advisory Committee has not been meeting regularly lately because the Fire Master Plan redrafting has been referred back to the staff, but the Fire Master Plan will be going back to them very shortly, which will give them an intensive period of work. Attached are the applications of the above named persons. I interviewed each of them, and am satisfied of their interest in the work of the Committee, and of their desire to serve the City.
