Settle and Mayor Ron Dlltlin _ Human Relations Vice-Chair Fay Potashin, Commissioners Shelley Aleshire, Commissioners: Michael Blank, George Brudney, John Downes, Jeanann Forsyth, Barbara Gauntt, Gwen McNamara, Leola Rubottom, .lean Seitz and Chair Leigh Willard S T U D Y S E S S I O N P U B L I C C O M M E N T After the first break or at approximately 1 :00 p.m. , the Council will receive public comment on items of interest to the public within the City's jurisdiction. Comments on items for which a public hearing has been scheduled will be received at that time. A speaker slip (available in the Foyer) must be filed with the City Clerk. As a general rule, action will not be taken on issues not listed on the agenda. Staff will generally be asked to follow-up on such items at the discretion of the Chair. HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION (DUNN - 1 _ Request of the Human Relations Commission to✓meet with the City Council to discuss the City Council 's actions and thoughts in regard to the Human Relations Commission and its staffing. RECOMMENDATION: Review and discuss as recommended. Page 1 of 2 Joint CC/HRC Council Meeting May 19, 1988 C O M M U N I C A T I O N S During the balance of this City Council meeting, any Councilmember or the City Administrative Officer may informally update or inform the City Council of written or oral communciations and ask for comment and/or discussion. General direction may be given. An item requiring formal approval may be continued to the next Regular meeting, or upon Council consensus , action, including direction to staff, may be taken immediately.
