RECOMMENDATION: A) Reaffirm Flood Management Policy; B) Direct staff to ;�._.. pursue flood control improvements considering, l)upstream detention,2)elimination of tight spots, 3)widening of San Luis Creek below confluence, and 4) incorporation of trails and retention of riparian habitat as recommended. Upon general consensus, Council directed staff to prepare a letter to the Board of Supervisors requesting consideration to add a one-half sales tax measure for Park and Open Space acquisition on the November 1992 ballot.
