fabricated restrooms from Restroom Facilities Corporation as a single source supply
purchase to replace existing structure at Santa Rosa Park Softball Field.

CLR-T Councilwoman Rappa reported on proposed County-wide development impact fees
CLR-2 Vice-Mayor Roalman reported that the County Water Advisory Committee would be
meeting to discuss whether to support state water at its meeting tomorrow.
CLR-3 Vice-Mayor Roalman stated that Utilities Director Bill Hetland would be making a
presentation tomorrow to the County Board of Supervisors urging their support to Monterey
County of Nacimiento Water.

3. EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY (JONAS/168-30 MIN.)
Consideration of an exchange of property between the City of San Luis Obispo
(Laguna Lake Municipal Golf Course, 11175 Los Osos Valley Road) and Laguna
Lake Mobile Estates (1801 Prefumo Canyon Road) (continued from 5/7/91).
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution approving the land exchange based on
findings and subject to conditions as recommended.
JONAS** FINAL ACTION.- Conceptual approval given for exchange of property. Staff directed
VOLES** to work with the property owner to reach acceptable conditions before subdivision
approval. Formal action continued to the July 2, 1991 meeting.
4. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PLAN (MCPIKE/622-10 MIN.)
Consideration of updating the City's Affirmative Action Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution updating the Affirmative Action Plan of
the City of San Luis Obispo.

of the City of San Luis Obispo as amended Staff directed to report back during the
annual review of the program as to how department heads and supervisors have
improved utilization of protected groups.
5. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT RENOVATION AND REFURNISHING
(ROMERO/192-10 MIN.)
Consideration of a budget amendment request for transferring $252,000-to the City
Hall Renovation and Refurnishing account.
RECOMMENDATION: By motion, approve the budget amendment request
transferring $252,000 from the Community Development Department 1989/90
carryover account to the City Hall Renovation and Refurnishing account.

ROMERO** FINAL ACTION: Staff directed to report back with a revised renovation and
JONAS* refurnishing proposal at the time Council reviews the proposed Civic Center proposal
and include a revised improvements priority list.
6. LAND USE ELEMENT—ECONOMIC STUDY SCOPE (JONAS/462-15 MIN.)
Consideration of, and action on the draft workscope for consultant preparation of
an economic study for the General Plan Land Use Element update.
RECOMMENDATION: By motion, authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement
in an amount not to exceed $84,500 with Mundie and Associates to produce an
economic study for the General Plan Land Use Element in conformance with an
approved workscope.
JONAS** FINAL ACTION. Staff directed to bring the draft LUE back to Council for its review
and provide a revised time frame.

CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
You are being noticed that the San Luis Obispo City Council
will be holding a public hearing to consider a request to
distribute 1990-91 Human Relations Commission reserve monies.
The agenda report, including recommendation by staff, will be
available for review in the City Clerk's Office (Room #1 of City
Hall) on the Wednesday before the meeting.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 1991 beginning
at 7: 00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 990 Palm Street.

public is welcome to attend and comment and written comments are
