SUBJECT: Appointment to Advisory Body (Jack House Committee)
CAO RECOMMENDATION:
By motion, appoint Ms. Kathy Strong to fill vacancy of "Member
at Large" on the Jack House Advisory Committee for an unspecified
term:
DISCUSSION:
With the resignation of Ms. Pam Zweifel in late 1992, the Jack
House Committee became one member short of their authorized seven
members.
The Grant Deed which originally transferred the Jack House
property to the City is explicit as to the expertise requirements
of the Committee members and Ms. Pam Zweifel had filled the
position of "Member at Large" .
Ms. Kathy Strong has indicated her willingness and desire to
fill the vacancy on the Jack House Committee (see attached
application) and her talents in the field of public relations and
media release writing will be of extreme assistance to the
remainder of the Committee and the program of making the Jack House
more available to the residents of San Luis Obispo.
CONCURRENCE:
The Jack House Committee fully supports this appointment.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint Ms. Kathy Strong as "Member at Large" to the Jack
House Advisory Committee for an unspecified term.
