SUBJECT: ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMISSION
APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATION
RECOMMENDATION:
By motion, appoint Laura Joines to the Architectural Review Commission to fill an
unexpired term beginning 8/1/93 and ending 3/31/96.
The Subcommittee would also request that Council thank Jim Homer for his service to the
City and the ARC.
DISCUSSION:
A vacancy exists on.the ARC due to the resignation of Mr. Homer.
During the annual advisory body interview/appointment process this year several applicants
were interviewed. In anticipation of upcoming vacancies, a list of potential appointees was
identified at that time. The Council Subcommittee is pleased to recommend Laura Joines
to serve an unexpired term to begin 8/1/93 and end on 3/31/96. Ms. Joines' will be out
of the country until 8/1/93.
Ms. Joines' application is attached for your review. All other applications are available in
the Council office.
