SUBJECT: Request to expand and modify existing preferential parking district.
CAO RECOMMENDATION:
Continue this item to the Council meeting of October 26, 1993.
DISCUSSION:
On June 15, 1993 Council continued this item to the October 5, 1993 meeting. On September 15,
1993 a letter was received from the Residents for Quality Neighborhoods requesting that this item
be continued to the meeting of October 26. 1993 (copy attached). Staff concurs with the request for
extension.

Honorable Mayor and City Council Members:
On June 15, 1993 the council continued item No. 7 (relating to
modification of the parking district in the Alta Vista neighborhood)
to the October 5 meeting.
We request that this item be again continued to the October 26
meeting. This delay is requested so that many of the residents that
have been away can be contacted and informed of the details of the
proposal.
