Consideration of approving the agreement between the California Department of Forestry and
Fire Protection and the City of San Luis Obispo regarding a Small Business Administration tree
planting grant in the amount of $56,000 and appropriating the $56,000 grant revenue and an
additional matching $33,000 from the general fund unappropriated balance for a total project
budget of $89,000. (Agreement documents are available in the City Clerk's Office for review.)
♦ RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution approving a Small Business Administration Tree
Planting Grant agreement and appropriation of matching funds.

♦ RECOMMENDATION: Continue review until the next round of general plan amendment
hearings to allow applicant time to explore ways to comply with City policies regarding provision
of open space.

from the Fre Station No. 1 project to a new account for the demolition project, and development
