By motion, appoint Janet Kourakis to fill an unexpired term ending on March 31, 1998.
DISCUSSION:
With Dodie Williams' election to the City Council, a vacancy was created on the Planning
Commission. After advertising and reviewing 26 applications, 15 applicants were
interviewed by Mayor Settle, Council Member Smith and Planning Commission Chair Barry
Karleskint.
The Council Subcommittee unanimously recommends the appointment of Janet Kourakis
to fill this unexpired term.
Ms. Kouralds' application is attached. All others are available in the Council office for your
review.
