RECOMMENDATION:
By motion, appoint Steve Sales to a three year term to expire 3/31/98-

One term will expire on 3/31/95: Chris Guenther, who is not eligible for reappointment
because he has served the maximum terms. After advertising and interviewing candidates,
the Subcommittee is pleased to recommend Steve Sales for appointment.
Mr. Sales' application is attached. All others are available from the Council Secretary.

Advisory Committee on Joint Recreational
Use of School District Property
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I am writing to support the application of Steven Sales as a member of the Joint Use
Committee. Mr. Sales is active in Youth Football and this has given me the opportunity,
over the past two years, to see how he works with others and the type of person he is.
My support for his application is based on the following:
-- His work on this committee will represent fairness and equity to all youth programs
and not alone Youth Football.
-- His interest in young people goes beyond sports' activities. He is also interested in
the other aspects of a successful life.
-- He is a gentleman, fair, willing to seek compromise, when needed, and a role model
for our youth.
-- He has a long history of involvement in our community with youth programs.
-- He is responsible in completing his commitments.
-- He goes the extra mile to improve facilities and to seek new opportunities.
-- He recognizes the need for calendar as well as facility coordination.
Please take these attributes into consideration as Mr. Sales is interviewed.
