My family and I moved to San Luis Obispo 1 1/2 years ago to become
an integral part of a amaller community, one in which government
was a more tangeable entity .
Along with this came a desire to become a more active participant
in community affairs and perhaps have a chance to assist local
government with providing programs/facilities that most benefit the
community.
The Joint Recreational Use Committee appears like a good starting
point for me to become more actively involved because I enjoy a
variety of recreational activities and much appreciate the existing
programs and facilities .
I believe I would find it a fullfiling challenge and reward to
participate in determining how to optimally use the recreational
facilities we have , particularly in light of today's budgetary
constraints .
