The following items are recommended for surplus by the Departments of Public Works and Police. ■ Police Department The Police Chief has identified ten patrol units as surplus.to the needs of the City. The cars have been replaced in accordance with the City's fleet management policy and are no longer being used. This listing excludes the vehicle recently declared as surplus by the City Council which will be leased to the City of Maricopa. ■ Public Works. The Director of Public Works has identified two pickup trucks, an oil truck, three dump trucks, a compressor, a walk-behind roller, a vibrating roller and a walk-behind asphalt curb maker as surplus to the needs of the City. The pickup trucks have been replaced in accordance with the City's fleet management policy. The dump trucks and the compressor have been replaced, and the two rollers were replaced by one new roller. The other items are surplus and are not being replaced. It should be noted that a back-hoe has been replaced and would normally be declared surplus at this time. All items proposed for disposal are more fully described on Exhibit A. The disposal method will be in accordance with the City's surplus property policy as determined by the Director of Finance to be in the best interest of the City.
