SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATION TO
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint Peter Dunan to a four-year term ending on 3/31/2002, and thank Joe Kourakis for his
service.
DISCUSSION:
One term will expire this year on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Joe Kourakis, who will
finish serving his second term on the commission on March 3 V, is not eligible for reappointment.
We thank Joe for his long commitment to service.
After advertising and interviewing six applicants, the subcommittee recommends the appointment
of Peter Dunan to a four-year term ending on 3/31/2002.
Mr. Dunan's application is attached. All other applications are available in the City Clerk's Office
for review.
