SUBJECT: Appointment Recommendation to the Mass Transportation Committee
RECOMMENDATION
Appoint Deby Anderson to the Mass Transportation Committee to fill the Cal Poly
Representative position.
DISCUSSION
A vacancy exists on the Mass Transportation Committee due to the resignation of Jacquie
Paulsen. Ms. Paulsen has retired from her position at Cal Poly; Deby Anderson has taken her
place. After meeting with Ms. Anderson the Council Subcommittee is pleased to recommend her
for appointment (application attached).

SUBJECT: Appointment Recommendation to the Human Relations Commission
RECOMMENDATION
Reappoint Paul Wolff to the Human Relations Commission to a four-year-term to end 9/30/04.
DISCUSSION
Two terms have expired: Paul Wolff and Mike Multari. Mr. Multari does not want to be
reappointed. Mr. Wolff wishes to be reappointed and the Council Subcommittee is pleased to
recommend Mr. Wolff for a four-year term. His application is attached for Council review.
The Council Subcommittee has advertised for additional candidates and will interview for the
remaining vacant position very soon.
